Ok, no way I'm gonna let my life story be deleted or forgotten. SO here is one of my fav posts.
I'm back! With a vengeance..
First of all, I've been really busy slacking my ass off, in front of the tv and playing scrabble.
Second of all, I've undertook a huuuuge task, or rather task(s), by first, organising my massive wardrobe. I've realized that I've had some really major fashion mistakes glaring at me in the form of bright pink furry tops, bright red baju kurungs with white flowers printed on them, and really huuuuge jeans!
But that was a blessing in disguise. I've discovered many, many, photos! So, the second project is, I've created a little story for all of you. (I've spent 2 hours scanning lots of pictures, ever since I've re-discovered my still-brand-new scanner in the store)
SO here goes, my life story.
Once upon a time, a beautiful lady met a handsome man.
They had a lovely marriage.
And, I came into this world.
Now, I was quite the moody baby. I can't quite figure out where I placed more flattering photos of myself as a child. BUt moving on...
THis little girl grew up, loving music. She played at her birthday, with her bestfriend by her side.
SHe was even 'coaxed' by her mother's strong powers of persuasion to become a bridesmaid. NOw, dun let her smile fool you into thinking she 'loved' being a bridesmaid. The smile had to be there, if not I wouldn't be alive today, ladies and gentlemen.
She then graduted to her next phase in life, a tumultous teenagehood, where she struggled between loserland and lameville at Ngee Ann Sec.
OH yes, she studied very hard. But, she met many great friends, of whom, some are still very dear to her.
As usual, we went for the fun, customary HAri Raya gatherings and money-collecting visits.
But, those few quirky friends of hers created more magical memories. (Disclaimer: Please dun kill me girls if you see your pics here. I still love you girls!)
We had a knack of taking really dorky photos of us, for the simple purpose of me now laughing at our really silly funtimes!
Behold the plant girl.
But, this photo takes the cake. What is wrong with it??? Okok, besides the fact that we look really lame and silly. Look carefully.
Yea, so, the girl moved on to another stage in her life - NYJC (Nanyang JC). She joined the student council.
Guess where is she?
And, the highlight of her jc phase must end with the prom.
WHich she went with a really good friend, Lobo. (Lobo is her family name, others call her by Sherene)
Of course, she met other great friends. (Hari Raya in JC, Lyn and me.)
SO, as she moves on in life, friends come and go, but some remain true.
(Fazilah in sec - and Fazilah and me.)
(Fil in sec sch - Fil and me)
And she met another great friend.
So, the journey towards self-discovery, mistakes and memories continue for the now-lady. She's on to her tertiary life, where the nights are long and the days are sleepy. And, who better to make this memory sweeter by meeting her love?
Who gave her freedom, taught her the responsibilities that came with it, and opened her eyes and mind to the world?
And, as her journey through long, winding roads continue, there is no doubt in her mind, that while there may be many 'what ifs' and 'I could've', her life story has been written. And unlike this version, the version God has written for this girl, is yet to be known.
play it softly, so gently♥
